This weekend, the Church celebrates St. Francis of Assisi, and this past week, Fr. Scott's parish (which happens to be named after that great saint) celebrated its 80th Anniversary. This week, to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, we are proud to present a talk by Franciscan Friar, Fr. Joe Hund, given at Fr. Scott's parish, St. Francis of Assisi in Lewiston, Michigan. Then, Bishop Walsh of the Diocese of Gaylord will offer a homily about the life of St. Francis to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi parish. Finally, we return to Fr. Hund as he meditates on the end of St. Francis' earthly life.
